Mooring and unmooring
 Mooring and unmooring vessels is impossible without the services of professional boatmen. By employing boatmen from the Verenigde Bootlieden BV, a captain is choosing quality, safety and efficiency. Our boatmen work on the locks and in the ports of Terneuzen, in the Braakmanhaven, Put van Terneuzen, De Everingen and in the Ghent to Terneuzen Canal. Mooring and unmooring vessels can be done alongside quays that are easily reached and where we can bring our vehicles. And thanks to our manoeuvrable barges, we are able to moor and unmoor vessels on buoys, poles or jetties. Especially for car carriers, our boatmen will place a floating fender between the quay and the vessel. This fender serves to prevent collisions with the sea lock bridges. Verenigde Bootlieden will ensure that the fenders are in place in time. The boatmen are available immediately, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are in the port around the clock, ready to assist. Our flats are situated in several locations in the port area, which means that we can reach any vessel quickly. | |
